Hello, hopefully someone can help me out with this issue.
I recently received a free upgrade from Blast! to Extreme 105. When I was on Blast! regardless what time of day I would receive a consistent download speed of 55+ Mbps/10-12 Mbps upload speed. After I received the upgrade this past Tuesday my downoad speeds fluctuate throughout the day(1pm-11pm) between 40-65 Mbps, but my upload speed is consistent at 21-23Mbps. If I do a speedtest in the morning(8am) I can get a consistent download speed of 100+ Mbps and my upload is still consistent at 21-23Mbps.
What could be causing this issue? I had no problems until this upgrade went into affect. I'm having a technician come out on Sunday to troubleshoot but I don't think it's the lines to my house that could be causing this problem since nothing has changed physically.
Also, while speaking with customer service over the phone and chat they must have sent 3-4 signals to the modem which didn't resolve the issue and I've tried both directly connected to the modem and through my router with no difference in speeds.
