I had my Arris WBM 760A (Docsis 3.0) cable modem provisioned automatically through Comcast's sel-activation website at about 6:30 a.m. this past Sunday, December 15, 2013.
I just checked its event log through 192.168.100.1. The event log has still only 11 entries, the last one being made at the end of activation process around 6:30 a.m. I have had no new entries since then!
My service plan is "Blast (50 Mbps download), and I've been getting consistently about 57 Mbps with Xfinity's speed test.
I have left the modem on always, and I haven't noticed any reset being done since I activated it on the 15th.
Is this normal? I'm a little concerned because this seems so different from experiences people report here about Comcast's Internet services.
