I finally decided to see what the rest of the comcast community was experiencing, by visiting this forum, and I'm somewhat relieved that I'm not the only person with the problem that's currently going on. For about one week now I've had the crazy high pings, request timeouts, and I'm currently receiving 60% packet loss while running a smoke ping test from dslreports.com .... Guess what though? My connection is perfectly fine in the eys of comcast tech support :-) ... I have no alternative for internet so I really hope they finally fix the issue or I'm going to refuse to pay for what little internet I get until the issue is fixed. This isn't my first rodeo with them about an issue like this..
