I am sick tired of talking to Comcast and getting nothing but their scripted troubleshooting that has not worked for the last 3 months. My internet usage keeps going over the usage allowance of 300G per month. There is no one in my house to use that much. I have done everything asked of me for 3 months. I even went out and purchased a brand new wireless router to take that out of the picture. Using the Comcast calculator I should not even be using 150G. But here I am again in month 4 and still my usage, just 6 days into the month is about 5 times higher than it should be. Everyone in the house works outside the house, no gaming boxes in the house, I don't netflix, the entire family has less that 50 emails a day, less than 10 hours a month are streaming music....etc. Get the picture? The sad part is even the last two techs in both the modem group and another in the security group acknowledge I've done everything. Well now it's time for Comcast to do something. Have you ever heard of a network Sniffer? Why do I have to pay overage charges? I am a service manager with a global company and if I provided this kind of service I would have been fired long ago. I work in a high tech field so I am really tired of the answers I get from customer service. Who can fix this? And if one more person tells me to change my wireless access password as the answer I will reach through the phone and choke them, right after I rip every Comcast service out of my house.
