I just upgrade to the triple play. The technician was great, but I had to take my daughter to the doctor. The wife was home. When I came home I found my personal modem still in place but with a splitter to an arris modem. When I signed up for the triple play I was told that I would not need another modem and dont want to be charged a 7 dollar fee. I saw previous posts that u have to go to best buy to get an arris modem. That is the same model the tech left. I am really confused why the tech did not put everything on the arris modem and why I need this modem when I signed up for the triple play the customer service tech said my motorllla sb would be fine.
