Internet Randomly Disconnects/Frequent Dropped Connections

Hello all,

My internet randomly and frequently disconnects throughout the day. Sometimes it's every few minutes, sometimes it's once or twice a day.

Once it happens, I have to power cycle or reset the modem but my internet often disconnects after I do this anyway. I'm in the process of contacting Comcast, but my previous experience with them tells me that they will blame it on the fact that I'm not using a Comcast modem.

Also, when I plug my laptop directly into my modem with the ethernet cord everything works fine. My issues are only when connecting wirelessly.

Here's what I'm using:

Zyxel BRG-35503 Cable Modem

Zyxel NBG-418N Wireless Router

Anyone have similiar problems or know of a solution? I'm going out of my mind!
