Looking for some help here, have been having intermittent connectivity issues. Have tried two modems, one personal and one rented from Comcast, both brand new.
I have spoken with Comcast multiple times and never seem to get anywhere with them other than telling me to power cycle and them remote power cycling. I believe there may be a problem with the line coming into my apartment, just looking for someone to confirm before I have a Comcast technician come out and look.
So far have tried replacing the modem, removing splitters, two different cable lines in my apartment and no difference, still intemittent problems. Here are some numbers from my modem page:
My speed I just tested 15 minutes ago was 1.5 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. The other day I tested it and it was 128 kbps download (yes like twice as fast as 56 k modem).
Can anyone offer insight here? Please!
