Re: Proof of Comcast Throttling connection

On Saturday 3/22/14, Comcast decided that we were using too much data and started to throttle us even though our caps were supposed to be suspended.  The funny thing is that they are only hitting our upload speed and only between the hours of 7:30 pm and 7:00 am.  Every day like clockwork. 7:30 pm to 7:00 am.  We opened a chat on Sunday 3/23/14 with the rep having us check everything possible and in the end he had to escalate with a trouble ticket.  He tells me to wait 24-72 hours for a call back. Well today was 48 hours so I thought I'd check on the status of our ticket.  Contacted tech support and found out that the ticket was closed immediately after it was opened.  Nice to know that we've been dealing with 4 days of throttling with no progress.  The tech today tells me there is something wrong with our lines.  Does anyone know the name of such a precise line problem?  I think I'll call it THROTTLING.  Sending a tech out on Thursday to check the lines.  My patience is running thin but this just gives me more time to document the problem so that I can send it on to the FCC.  Such an easy thing to document too.
