Been using the same modem ( CISCO DPC3000 ) for the last year to year and a half.
For most of the time the Net was available during startup of my computer. Using Win7 sp1, 64bit.
This last month it has started taking 1 to 5 minutes after startup for the 'Link' light to activate and the Net to become available. Network & Sharing doesn't even see the modem as existing.
Any ideas how to see if the Modem is dieing, or my Motherboard network adapter is going bad, or... ?
Tried calling Comcast Tech Support, and all the script reading drone was able to say was power-cycle and sending a reset signal, that fixes all! Grrrr....
