Quick question:
I currently lease an ARRIS TM502G from Comcast and it is used for telephone only. I also own a Motorola SB6120 D3.0 modem that I use for Internet access.
I just purchased a new in the box D3-capable ARRIS TM822G EMTA.
I would like to replace the TM502G / SB6120 combo with the TM822G EMTA.
I'd prefer to do this over the phone if possible, since there is a Comcast equipment drop location near my house, but the nearest office is an hour drive away.
Is this something I can do over the phone with Comcast? And if yes, which department should I speak with exactly?
