Comcast resets/downtime warning

I am a night owl.  Often online in the wee hours.  It never fails.  Comcast goes down for server resets etc at the worst moments.  Now I know why Comcast picks the wee hours for this kinda thing, and it has to be done.  But...can't comcast do a broadcast say 15 minutes prior that goes out to all logged in as a warning?  Seems like it would be a no brainer to have this ability on every browser.

Very frusterating.
