I have been having issues with Comcast internet. It bounces me on and off and is often slow. I do not believe I am getting the service/high level speeds that I am paying for on a monthly basis. ($66.95 package).
I just checked my modem. It is a Motorola SB5120 Surfboard cable modem.
I believe this modem may be "end of life 7/2013"
How do I get a new modem? Is this provided by Comcast? Why was I not informed in July of 2013 that my modem couldn't support the level of service I was paying for? etc.
Please advise. I would like a new modem provided to me and want the specs to make sure it will provide me with the service and speed that I am paying for.
Thank you,
