Replaced comcast's gateway modem with a wireless router.It's a million times better

Just wanted to mention this for anyone who might be on the fence about replacing the comcast gateway modem with an actual wireless router.  I've used two or three of those gateway modems over the past few years for wireless networking, and each one of them had significant issues with network speed and stability, especially when it came to streaming services like netflix.  The range was always really bad too, I couldn't believe how much its wireless signal would degrade by just moving from 4 feet away from it to 6.

Anyway, I purchased a Netgear wireless router a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it.  All the wireless network issues I consistently experienced with the gateway modem are gone.  I wanted to share in case anyone is considering spending a few bucks for a wireless router to replace the comcast's gateway modem.  In my case, it solved everything in one fell swoop.  I wish I would have done this sooner.
