I can not understand the Connection Guide that came with the new equipment. My current installation is as follows; In the basement at a corner of the house - A co-ax cable from the main cable & telephone splitter box is connected to an Arris Touchstone Telephony Modem (Comcast owned). A USB cable from this Arris box is connected to a Netgear box (Model # WNDR3400v2). Computer room, 2 stories above basement in the same corner of the house. Two computers, 1 Windows, 1 Mac, each having a Netgear WNA 1100 Anatel connected via USB cable. What is the new equipment just arrived from Comcast? What equipment does it replace? What are the benefits to me, if any? Is installation compulsory or optional? Thank you, please reply to:XXXXXXXXXXXXX
