We had GREAT service with Comcast at out last house. Since we've moved to this new home we've had VERY spotty service.
Our service wavers, then drops out comepletely. It's spotty when it happens. Each time it's done this we've had a technician out, they cannot find anything wrong, and they call for outside maintenace. I have to call severl times to try to get an update, and finally it is just fixed.
I have a tech coming out tomorrow becasue our service has started to shut down and waver again.
The last tech said something out somoene in teh neighborhood plugging their Uverse into the comcast modem and causing a loop?
The settings on my modem seem fine. when I jump on chat the tech will "boost my signal" send a refresh and tell me that I will have no more trouble, then the next morning I have issues again.
I need reliable service for work. I need the Upload speeds that comcast offers, but I need a consistent speed.
Is there anything I can do to remedy this ongoing issue? It seems like I lose a week of service about every other month?!?!?!
