On occasion (About once every week or two) lately, I've noticed the modem cycling (Not power cycling but cycling the connection to the Internet). Sometimes it fixes & resolves itself. At other times, I have to intervene & assist
In any case, it ALWAYS happens late at night (Like 2:00 AM or so) & it messes up the router. As I said before, sometimes the modem & router are able to resolve the issue by themselves but at others I have to step in & intervene
Not sure if it's something to keep an eye on if it continues to happen or if it's just routine upgrades or what BUT it's very noticeable to us night owls for sure
