I've been having problems with intermittant connectivity where my sb6120 fluctuates between only finding one bonding channel or multiple with both upstream and downstream. Yesterday a tech came out and replaced the line outside and it was fine for a day and now I'm having wildly fluctuating downstream power levels and varying between number of channels being found downstream. Upstream shows at this moment two channels and a third with a T4 timeout status.
I've been running a script for the last few days that scrapes the power levels and SNR from the modem web pages when it's not rebooting itself. it's rebooted 3 times in the last half hour.
If I contact support again, they'll be all "I sent a reset to your modem. How's the internet NOW?" or "You need to replace your modem. Those wear out you know."
So I'm wondering, you know, what do I do? I feel like I've reached the pinnacle of tech prowess that I can actually get my hands on by contacting support. I know there are people somewhere who know something about technical matters at Comcast, but they don't seem to be available to me.
