Hello,
I'm experiencing some frequent (2-3 times per minute) ping issues that seem to happen all day. The result is a completely missed ping or, more frequently, times of 2000-3000. It's very, very noticable when I'm gaming. This is a pretty recent phenomenon. It started around Christmas, but everything had been working fine for 6 months prior to that which is when I moved into this house.
Since then, I have bought a new modem, a Motorolla SB6141. I have verified that the issue is not my computer - multiple computers have been hooked up to the modem and all experience the problem. I have a router, but for testing purposes, I have skipped it and gone directly from my modem to my computer. I have also verified that the problem is not the first "hop" away from my computer - I VPNd into my work computer and had it ping the same address. The work machine had 0 dropped pings and no high latency while my machine at home had multiple dropped pings and several instances of high latency.
Below is what the "Signal" page on my modem's administration page shows.

Sorry about the poor quality of the above, but I don't see a way to post an image in the toolbar here and it's rejecting all my attempts at formatting. Anyway - can anyone tell me, based on this, if my modem might be defective? Should I schedule a tech to come out and look at stuff?
