I currently subscribe to HD PREMIER BUNDLE XF Triple Play. I am having a problem with my high-speed internet service.
The Blast! service for blazing fast download speeds of 50 Mbps that I subscribe to for internet speed requires a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. Comcast installed an Arris Touchstone Telephony Model TM722G/CT which is on your approved list of DOCSIS Version 3.0 because the installer did not have a X1 Platform.
Yet my Download Speed is only 10.43 Mbps and Upload speed 6.13 according to the Infinity EasySolve tool to optimize my Internet, not even close to the advertised 50 Mbps.
I ordered Blast! so we can download HD movies, the movies are interruped by pauses as a movie has to rebuffer into a que to start again, and Netflix sends me a warning of "Low Bandwidth".
I believe the problem lies in the cable resistance running from the street box to my house is too great a distance and needs a lower impedance larger capacity cable.
What can you do to alleviate this problem?
