I guess EG is going to keep answering everyone except me, after close to a week of the itnernet going odwn for me up to hours some of those days. Pretty sad when I am almost positive what the problem is and STILL it takes this long to get anyone to even send a proper tech out. I'm going to do what I said and call the guy they useed last time. This is at least the fourth time I've had to wait this long or longer for a Comcast problem to get fixed. Then in the tv forum they finally started getting corporate to contact me and now they've been no help either and today i have received no email from corporate. I guess they're closed. What kind of normal business closes for President's Day?
Edit: Called that line guy whose number I saved and it went to voice mail and I didn't know whether or not to leave a message. He told me back then if I had problems to call him, but he may have meant that day. All I know is it's ridiculous to have to post for this long and still have nobody setting it up for him to come back out. I do not need tow aste my time and Comcast's time and money on a basic tech to come check signal and tell me it looks good. I've had problems FOUR times now where it's always that someone used splitters outside at the box when they weren't supposed to. Again, my internet keeps going out around the SAME time each day, which should tell you it's not the modem, it's related to traffic on lines and likely some dummy put those splitters back out there.
