I guess I will preface this with the fact that I am tech savvy and already pretty sure what the problem is.
So 2 days ago while remote accessing into my computer at work I started noticing horrible freezes. Where remote access would just freeze for like 2-5 seconds.
I did some personal trouble shooting, and pretty much diagnosed the issue down to my modem.
I have a motorola surfboard sb6121 I have had it for roughly 1 year and half now.
So what is happening no matter what website/game/remote access thing I goto, my internet timeouts for a couple of seconds. If it doesnt time out it has a high spike. I infinte pinged websites like google and yahoo and found that the request was timing out or it was something crazy like 6000.
On account that I don't want to buy a new modem, I was wondering if there is anything comcast tech support could do on their end? To defintly verify that is my modem that is the issue.
