OK then... basic question is why is my average connect speed less than half what is was just a few months ago? I'm having instances where it chokes so badly I can't even open pages on this site in less than 30-45 seconds. And don't ask me what service tier I have because I don't know. I have yet to find anywhere on your site that offers that info and I no lnger get a paper bill. All I DO know is that I supposedly pay extra for "high speed" service and the speeds I'm getting are less than DSL on many days.
Prior to your announcement of a speed increase for "some" users (read businesses and companies that can afford it"), my DL speeds were constantly in the low to mid 20s, now I'm lucky if I can push it over 10-12 (offen it's in the 6-7 range) and most of the time my upload speeds exceed my download speeds which is totally wack.
Yet I'm still paying as much (actually a little more) as I was when the speeds were relatively decent for what you're charging which seems to be somewhere in the vicinity of $70 for internet (total bill is $111but about 40 of that is for 1sr tier digital TV which I don't watch but am forced to keep so you won't boost the price of my internet service to make up the difference). This is totally out of line for transfer rates I could get from DSL Services like Uverse for half the money.
So, Can you please advise or point me to to a page where I can find out what plan I'm on, exactly how much of my total monthly payment I pay for internet service and what my transfer speeds, both up and down are supposed to be? I'm really not enjoying paying cable prices for DSL service but this has gotten worse and worse in recent months and that's just about where I find myself now.
