losing connection or having limited connection issues all the time

we are in ct and have comcast for our internet service. we have been having problems for a long time but its getting worse and worse. we either lose our connection or have very limited connection (which means no connection). we have replaced our modem and router (of course our modem is on the comcast site as being approved) and we were up and running for about a day and a half and then lost the connection again. called comcast for about the tenth time in the last week and she said there was no signal from our modem and that i should buy a new one. i said well this one is only a week old and she said to bring it back and get another one. so i did that and guess what this one had the same results. comcast could not get a signal from the modem. so they are having a tech come out in a couple of days. lets see if they can do any good.  Oh  i almost forgot when i got up the next day after talking to comcast customer service the night before i decided to try to see if i could connect to the internet and to my surprise i could. so i guess the modem is working after all. one other thing it seems like we always have a drop internet issue after eight at night. very disgusted with my service and if i had a choice of going with another internet provider we would not think twice about it. anybody else having a problem with comcast internet?
