I upgraded to Comcast Blast! this morning, hoping to get close to 50 Mbps. Unfortunately I have not been able to achieve that. I get 28.8 Mbps consistently.
I chatted with Support but they were not any help, they told me to disconnect the cable on my SB6121, power it down, wait a few minutes, reconnect and restart it and then restart my computer. This did not help as I suspected since I had already tried that a few times.
I have also tried to connect my laptop directly to my cable modem and bypass my router. Same results.
I have the blue lights on my modem indicating a bonded downstream and upstream channel connection.
I saw a few people on the forum with similar issues as mine and I'm wondering if my device is not getting the correct bootfile. How do I verify it is correct?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
