Slow internet speed even with BLAST! What gives?

Comcast is the biggest rip off in internet access.
I have high speed internet...blast and it still is slower than a snail's behind.The home page takes forever to load...maybe do to all the junk related to entertainment and information to load on the home page.
Then why should I throw all my money down the internet drain for lousy internet service? Good question!
Maybe  because they hold a monopoly on the service in this area.
