Modem losing connection every day..

I've had Comcast since i moved into my current house, about 3 years now. And while I've been here, I've always had problems with my internet connection.  Until recently, I had a SB5101 modem, and It would intermittenly lose connection to the internet several times a week, usually while online gaming or streaming movies.  It usually reconnected fast, under 1 minute or less. However, I've always had reliable speed tests of 27-28mbps down, 5-6 up. I thought maybe a new model modem would fix the problem and also allow use of higher speed tiers, so I bought a SB6141.  So now it seems like I'm getting the same disconnects, but it takes a lot longer for it to reconnect, sometimes 5 minutes or more.  And sometimes after reconnecting, I will have terrible speeds for awhile, around 1mbps down, 5-6 up.  I've already exchanged the modem from the store for the exact same model, hoping I just had a flawed unit. But same problems still happening. 

 

Any help would be much appreciated. I will post some modem info following this.
