If anyone has info on why Cisco's DPC3010 remains unsupported by Comcast -- and supported by many other ISPs like Cox -- well over a year after its introduction, can you please share the info? The official word (last year) was that Comcast had no config file for this model. Why don't they have one, who's responsible for creating it, and are there any incompatibilities that will prevent it from ever being added to the supported modem list?
If Comcast has a problem with cable modems with USB ports, I wish they would simply come out and say so. If not, I don't understand how it could be incompatible, since it's the same f/w as the DPC3008 except with a USB port.
