I'll try to make this as short as possible. Basically my internet is out and I have no idea why or how to remedy it.
Starting about a week ago I was having some issues with slowdowns and disruptions so I had a tech come out only for him to check everything and say the signals were fine and all that jargon, and said if anything Comcast could've been having services issues or the modem I owned was going bad.
Fast forward to yesterday, was working in acceptable condition (could access webpages and such) and then a power outtage occurred. All power was out for about ~30 minutes before coming back. The Internet initially worked fine for the first 10 minutes, then just ceased to work. Tried power cycling and all that usual stuff and nothing changed.
Called Comcast for them to tell me to do all that bs such as power cycling and trying a different outlet. with no change and said they would need to send a tech out and it would. Taking the advice of the last tech, I went to buy a new modem and sunk $100 into a Motorola Sb6141.
Got home with it and called Comcast to activate it, only for it to do the same exact thing anyways. Still got no internet!
Basically what it does is the Power light is consistently on, then one by one the lights blink on slowly then turn solid. First the DS light blinks then turns solid green, followed by the US. Then when it gets to the Internet light, that one just blinks white and blue and then after 30 seconds all the lights turn off except the power and restarts the whole process over again.
Here's the event log or whatever, had to save it as a screenshot since I'm posting this from my phone.

I also checked Downdetector.com and it says there's outtages in the area near me (I'm in Fairfield, CA) but according to the map it's in the Bay Area but not exactly covering where I live.
I just need any advice on what the problem most likely is or whatever. I think it could've had something to do with the powersurge with a possible outtage even though Comcast insists there is no outtage. Also one of the reps said that a signal boosters might help (I have no idea what the F that is) so I don't know. I really can't wait til Thursday for Internet. Not sure if I should just wait and see or what.
