So I been lurking this forum and found back in 2011-2012 there was a problem where comcast customers cable modem would automatically reset itself after heavy traffic use or sometimes even random times. I've read that alot of people who had the CISCO and SURFBOARD had problems. Well, I had the cisco one but I returned it and got the Zoom 5341J (someone recommended this) and its doing it also! I've had the comcast guy tech come out and he tested my signal and says its good signal. He put a splitter on my modem. Later that night, it started cutting out when I start to game. Lastnight, it would cut out every 10 minutes and I wasn't even heavy gaming. I've determined that its not the modem nor wiring from comcast since tech says signal is great. Could it be my APPLE router? When cable modem resets, my APPLE router doesn't turn off or anything but I've had that router for a year now and it didn't do it at my mother's house when I was living there. I've lurked this forum and tried to find solution but all the old threads just leave no solution. I've noticed a trend tho! All the customers of comcast thats having this problem OWNS THEIR OWN MODEM aka not paying $7 extra a month to lease one from comcast.... HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
