So, it started yesterday in the morning when i was asked to activate my modem. I thought it was a one time error, i called comcast, activated it and thot it was all. 4 hours later, it was gone again. same thing asking for activation. i called comcast, and they said they could not activate it. everytime they sent an activation signal they saw an error message saying wrong device information while all the info was correct. after a while of failing, i would try doing a self activation, and it would go through and i would get internet and all would turn good. After another 5/6 hours It would repeat again. I swapped my modem for a brand new one from bestbuy, and the same issue persists. It happened 4 times until now. and comcast has no clue whats going on. They keep referring me to billing, sales, technical support, and activation tech. This is frustrating!
