Is this amount of variance normal for downstream channels?
Using a Arris TM822G.
The upstream dB is horrible and on the verge of being out of spec. In the winter months I can get 2-3 upstream channels bonded, summer months I might get 2-4 but the modem drops it back to 1 after a few hours.
Internet, Voice and Cable are all working perfectly and at rated speed, no packet loss ect. Main line only goes through 1 2-way splitter that go to modem and cable box. I don't wanna be "that guy" that calls a tech out just for single levels. Since speed increases are coming once I get up to 105/20 I feel that 1 channel for upstream is getting pretty close to the overhead and theoretical limit for 1 bonded upstream channel.
