Well, I'll start off with the problem. On June 4th, I first had Comcast installed, their Blast 50/10 it didnt work right away. In fact I was averaging around 20-30 mbps down and 11mbps up. The Tech said that was normal until the connection became stable. (yea I know, and I just shruged, and told fine. It's been a long week for me.) To my surprize, the connection did got better about an hour later i was downloading at around 50mbps and 11 up. So i went ahead and called in and activated my own modem, a Motorola SB6141. And it worked as it should. 57 down and 11up.
Of course about 3 hours later, around 1pm, the connection dropped to around 6-8mbps down and 11mpbsp up. The ping seemed stable but was disappointed with the connection. After calling, they related, that nothing seems wrong on there end and all signal looked fine. I'm guessing they're able to see the modem signals? I even went ahead and swap back the original modem that the tech installed and had the same connection problem. Either way i had a tech scheduled to come this Thursday. Only day I had available to waste time.
The very next day, on June 5th, the connection got better, back up to 57up and 11down. It was good all day until the evening around 9pm where it dipped back down to 6mpbs down and 11mpbps up. It seems that the upload doesnt get affected but only the download? Things i did to trouble shoot was Hook up my modem directly to the connection coming into the house, no splitters and it still was around 6mbps down and 11 up, when i was having the problems. I then tried it with the first splitter which is needed because our X1 Tv service. And even on the first splitter, it still had the same connection problem. I will metion it was raining out here on the day of the tech installed the modem, and it was wet out the follwoing night as well, so i'm hoping its not a weather related issue. I even tried reseting the modem, etc and still no fix.
In anycase, on Friday June 6, the connection was stable again.
Fast forward to today, Monday June 9th and the connection still seem stable. Well, I dont want to cancel the tech visit on thursday just in case it happens again. But i was hoping you guys could give me some insight and look at my signals and let me know if they're stable enough. I want to make sure its not my modem, with the problem and not further down the line. And i'm hoping it rains the day he shows (in case it is weather related), cause im sure he'll look at the signal and just say its normal or some BS.
And this was all while connected directly to the modem.
Here are my current signal on my SB6141.

If, and when the internet drops again, I'll be sure to add those signal levels as well.
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
