Internet speed reduced after switching to BLAST and switching back

Hi,

I recently noticed that my internet speed kept varying throughout the day. On checking, I found out that I was upgraded to BLAST. I requested that they put me back to the Performance pack where I use to consistently get around 20MBPS + type of speed.

Now, even after I have been switched back to the Performance pack, my speeds are still varying, and the maximum I am able to get is around 12 MBPS.

Any suggestions or help?

I have a Zoom Model = 5341J modem, and a Trendnet N300 Model = Tew-731BR wireless router.
