Literally spent 1 hr and 15 mins and chat with 4 different Comcast reps attempting to upgrade from my economy plus 3mbps internet to the blast 50mbps service, and they could'nt complete the upgrade.
The usually please buy this and that spiel, plus a disconnect on the first chat. Then, after explaining what I wanted to the second rep and asking for sales, he swore he could do it. 20 mins later, " sorry I can't do it from here. Please let me get a sales rep". Exactly who I asked for to begin with.
After all the explaining and holding with this final rep, I'm told they had an error adding it to my account and sorry we can't do it now. We'll have someone call you within 48 hours to address the issue or you can call our 800 number and they will help. Of course, I find out their office is closed when I just called them.
I've never posted on a forum before and have heard countless reports of Comcast terrible service, now I understand where they get it from. I never should have had to waste this much time simply upgrading my service. I have a DOCSIS 3.0 modem so equipment isnt the issue.
Sorry, just had to vent. Guess i will call AT&T tomorrow.
