I have had performance internet for a while. last week i was called by Comcast and offered a 105mbps upgrade if i got a promotional TV bundle package. I reluctantly took it, but only because of the faster speed ( i don't care about TV).
However, my speeds are still at performance levels of 28 down and 5.8 up.
I called tech support today, and all the guy really did was schedule a tech to come take a look tomorrow. I don't believe there is anything the matter with my setup at home. I think it just needs to be configured, activated or upgraded on Comcast's end by someone who knows what to do.
My modem is docsis 3.0
Ubee DDM5313.
The same kind i was given at my local Comcast last month (I just purchased mine, and will return the rented one).
I imagine if they are giving this out it should be able to support the 105mbps.
Can someone take a look into this for me? Thanks.
