To Comcast Customer support.
We currently have Xfinity TV, phone and internet. We are satisfied with the phone and tv service and we are writing today about our internet issues.
We have recently had many issues with the quality and the performance of our internet connection that Comcast has provided.
The support we have received from both phone and in-store has been excellent, and our frustration does not lie with the quality or professionalism of Comcast customers support.
We have been having intermittent connectivity which impacts five people trying to do homework including the necessity of working from home.
After many calls and thorough troubleshooting we were told to bring in the modem for a replacement. The symptoms were constantly a problem with the connection dropping for one or all of the devices and this did not change after replacing the modem.
We also paid for the speed boost and we do have great connectivity with awesome performance but the connection is still intermittent after going through the xfinity set up guide as well as making sure that the internet settings are configured correctly.
We are certain that this is not an issue with the way our home has been wired or with the modem. When it works it works well. We were told that we should have a service technician come to our home, but we can not afford the service since it would be an additional charge to an already expense bill for us.
We believe that this is an issue with the xfinity internet service and the next step will be to buy our own modem, but that does not correct the issue of the intermittent connectivity.
