Three years ago I bought the Arris TM802G modem on the recommendation of the Comcast tech department. When it arrived I tried to have it installed and they said it wasn't yet approved. He said to keep checking and it should only take a few more months. I have ben checing every month for the past three years and still nothing. What's the story? I still have the modem sitting in a box waiting to be installed. I am starting to believe you just want me to keep paying the $7/month fee...
