Connectivity and Billing - New Service

I tested my new internet service today as it's extremely slow.  I have the "special" performance plan @ $29.99 a month for a year.  The download speed was 1.72 mbps and the upload speed was .44.  I don't know if that's the correct speed for the plan I have, if so then I'll probably change back to Century Link.

 

I was also charged $39.95 for an in home visit to install the cable and another $30.00 for the internet install, which I ended up doing myself as the order plainly stated that I owned my own router and wifi and the tech installed a comcast leased modem.  Once I informed him that he was supposed to install my equipment, he just said well you'll have to swap out it yourself and left.  Mind you the appt was from 8a - 10a and he left at 8:55.  I'm not paying for th internet install because I did it myself!

 

Also the 800-XFINITY phone# keeps hanging up as does the 800-266-2278 # so I cannot dispute the bill or even upgrade to a better service!
