I have Xfinity internet and voice with Comcast. I really would like to buy and use my own modem. Are there recommendations out there for which one to buy. I rarely use the phone, but it's part of the contract so the modem I buy has to have that as well. I use to have an Apple router, but I couldn't use that with the existing modem. At present I am using: Medel # SMCD3GNV. Please advise. Thanks.
