30 Mbps on Blast

Hi all,

I was hoping someone might have ideas to help me diagnose my slower-than-expected internet connection. I'm a brand new comcast customer as of last week and daily speed tests are holding consistent at 29-30Mbps, much slower than the expected 105Mbps from blast.  I read my bill on my online account to confirm I am signed up for blast and began diagnostics but can't seem to dig up the bottle neck.

Equipment:

Modem: self-purchased SB6141 (DL speed spec up to 343 Mbps)

Router: belkin N450 (wifi connection spec'd at 150Mbps @2.4Ghz)

Comp: Asus desktop on windows 7 (3.4Ghz CPU, 8Gb RAM)

looking at my task manager my wifi link speed is 75Mbps, ethernet to router link speed is 100Mbps, and ethernet to modem link speed is 1Gbps. Network and Cpu usage hold at 0-1% untill I run the speed test (speedtest.net and comcasts test have same results) then my network usage percentage spikes as expected. I've done multiple hard power resets on the modem, and the speed test is consistent regardless of whether I connect via wifi, ethernet to router, or ethernet to modem. A speed test over the wifi from an app on my phone got 15Mbps. The only thing left I can think of to check is the NIC card on my desktop which is a replacement, the original got fried by a lightning strike to my house... Anyway, any diagnostic thoughts welcomed!
