Last week I bought the SB 6121 modem so we could cancel the $8.00 per month rental charge for the Ubee modem from Comcast. I installed the SB 2161 with the help of Comcast personnel on the phone and we are up and running. I could NOT be more disappointed with the speed. We are have "Blast" tier and according to Speedyest.net via the iPad we are only getting 5.84 download speeds and 9.91 upload speeds. I could really tell when my wife was watching netflix on her iPad and my Apple TV and iPad mini could barely chug along. We NEVER had this issue with the Ubee modem. Am I missing something? I've restarted the modem and the router to power cycle, but no luck.
