For the last several weeks I have been having problems connecting to the Comcast webpage. It seems to take forever to connect, and I have to left clickin the window and then at the bottom of the page/window a little block line comes on with either Recover website or Script is running to long. Then Windows opens up to a little window asking if I want to close the page or check the page and then close. When I right click to check the page, another window opens up and a green line starts running from left to right. After that the Comcast page will open up. This very same thing happens to almost every webpage that I go too. At this point I am wondering if hitting the reset button will even help. I haven't done this yet, but will give it a try. Sometimes very early in the AM there are no connection issues at all...seems like when the modem warms up..it starts right away.
I have an Arris Modem. Sometimes our phone acts up as well, like cutting off in the middle of a conversation, or showing that a message has been recieved even if the phone has never rang or clicked in as an incoming call while the line is in use. So far the TV looks to be ok in connectviity, except when there is a storm brewing...nothing works well, if at all. We have had this particular modem for several years. I'm just tempted to unhook and take it to our local Comcast office and exchange it for another one....if that's possible without being charged.
