One year ago, I purchased an SB6141 modem to stop paying monthly rental fees. After many calls, finally found a tech that sent correct files to modem and it worked flawless for eight months. Last month, one morning went to computer, it would not connect to Internet. Finally called comcast supprt, spent one hour on phone to someone from the Phillipines that would not stop talking about always wanting to go to Florida, as he supposedly was resetting my account. Finally hung up called back in got a tech, that knew exactly what was wrong and corrected it within ten minutes. She said that my account did not have a modem attached to it, and she fixed that. At months end my bill was assessed a $25.00 charge for a new modem, after long call to Comcast got that corrected. Now for the past few months and getting worse, the Internet is out dozens of times a day. For eight months, both bonding lights were solid blue ( High speed connection ) now either one is green ( low speed ) & one is Blue, or both are green. The modem keeps going out and the log shows [ No ranging response received - T3 Timeout ] and also [ Cable modem reboot due to T4 Timeout ]. Will someone from Comcast please look at my account and see what is wrong. I pay for the Blast Internet 105 speed. Thanks In Advance.
