In a continuous effort to get reliable service Comcast is failing to do so. We live in the Westridge subdivision of Dexter Mi. Zip Code 48130. For 12 years now it has been and still is a constant battle of asking for and receiving constant reliable Internet service. With the ability to monitor the Internet speeds provided here, we where promised 50 MPS. Unfortunately we are lucky on a good minute/time line of receiving 25mps. Most of the time this rate fluctuates from anywhere of 4mps to .863mps. basically dial up. In today's world everyone knows this is unacceptable. We have had technician after technician coming and telling us there is nothing wrong, our equipment needs to be changed (as I had Comcast put there's in), as to trying to talk to the folks on Industrial (Ann Arbor) about it, with no resolution. We are still having very high fluctuating internet speeds which adds up to poor service.
We have tried to change our internet carrier but this area is sewn up with no other service allowed/provided. We have looked into satellite but everyone knows that is limited on data. With children in college and the need to complete there homework on line, there have been nights of pure frustration, to say the least!
I/we are asking Comcast to finally get this issue resolved and fix this on going problem that truly has plagued this area for a long time now. 12 years is a long time to have poor service from Comcast. I/we believe the time has come to finally acknowledge the issue and resolve it in a professional manner, PLEASE!. We went to Satellite TV and have had much better service in that regard. We where trying to stay loyal to Comcast but our hand was forced. We are still have issues with the internet though. I/we ask that you please resolve this.
I really look forward to a non political non condescending response, this time. I really look forward to some one professionally answering my issue and working to finally getting it resolved.
