I am having a problem where my internet connection is constantly dropping. Whenever the connection is up I have good speeds, but it will drop out randomly. I have a motorola sb6121. I've tried connecting the pc straight to the modem, and im still recreating the problem. I have had 4 techs sent to my house and they all found something that was off and thought they fixed it, but an hour after they left my connection would drop again. I've tried different brand new modems and i still have this problem. I went into my modems configuration and found that whenever my connection drops my upstream changes from 3 different channels with 48dbmv to a single channel with 57dbmv (which i know is pretty high) I have tried replacing the coax cable to the splitter with no results. My downstream is always around -1 or -2, so im sure its an upstream issue. I only have comcast internet, no tv or phone. i have checked the log files and im getting . "Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out" and im also getting "No Ranging Response received - T3 time out. What should i do?
