We have xfinity internet, and recently recieved and installed the newest modem. However as of a couple of days ago, the connection speed has slowed down drastically.
Family members cannot play games online without experiencing horrible latency, for example, in game ping used to be around 20-40, and now jumps between 80 and 250, usualling staying in the triple digits.
Even devices that are directly connected to the modem are having this issue.
Skyping is nearly impossible, and the wifi connection keeps getting dropped. I have reset all routers and modems, any advice would be appreciated.
No one in the household torrents, and most of the internet usage is not very intensive (usually just email and youtube).
