I just recently became a Comcast subscriber, and I have to say I am MUCH less than impressed. My "Blast" internet service, which was offered to me as "50mbps" speed, has NEVER been faster than 13mbps according to speedtest.comcast.net!
In the two weeks I've had it, we have often had speeds so low (1.5/3) that even using ONE computer is more than the network will handle. Isn't this "breach of contract?"
I'm keeping a log of internet speed test results and plan to use it to prove my case. I have reset the cable modem multiple times, exactly as recommended. I've relocated the modem to every outlet we have, trying to find a better signal strength, to no effect.
Where I am I have the choice of Comcast or AT&T, and I chose Comcast because I heard nothing but horror stories about AT&T internet. Now I'm ready to change!
(BTW, previously I had service through Knology (who were bought by WOW) and they had the BEST service I've ever experienced and my speeds were spoiled-rotten awesome!)
