I'd been using my old modem for years, and then after back to back winter storms my connection got bad so we had a service guy come down, he replaced what were really old and damaged wires outside. And we also got a brand new modem, the one with built-in router.
But now, I have some issues with connection speed, but only on certain websites. Speedtests show a normal 50+/10, and I have no issues playing online games or using forums. But Google websites, like google.com, youtube.com, and similar websites, appear to have trouble loading. Taking MINUTES to load just the simple Google Home Page, sometimes outright timing out..
The same holds true for any devices that use the Wi-Fi. So I doubt it's an issue with the computer.
Any idea what this may be? Is it a problem with the Modem? DNS Servers?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
