I have owned my modem for just under a year and recently have been experiencing serveral drops in connection throughout a single day. I purchased a new modem,(same make and model), and the same thing is happening. I've talked to tech support several times who tells me the modem is in a timeout state. Trouble is, everytime I have them on the phone my modem is offline so they can't get any info from it. They say the firmware "should" be fine. I'm not sure if a firmware update would solve this or not. All connections have been checked and re-checked. I even replaced the coax cable to ensure that wasn't the culprit. Any advice or info would be appreciated. Thanks!!
