I just got off live tech support chat about my tv and internet losing connection at the same time a couple of times a day. I can not believe this "tech" said that my losing both connections and dropping packets ( causing loss of sync and T4 timeouts on my modem ) and inconsistent speed for the past week could be caused by my wired modem being plugged into an extension cord! He also suggested that my modem SB6121 loses it performance after 1-2 years. Where in the world do they find these "techs" and how are the trained???
